It's not very often that a friend of mine from the online business world ventures over to Barcelona. (I have to admit: since moving to this side of the pond, I do feel a bit detached from most online biz activities and conferences β so itβs always a treat when a friendly North American face pops by.) Meet: Tanner Bell. While he was here with his family, he agreed to film an interview with me in my apartment that I think you'll find verrrry insightful. Turns out... Tanner is making $3 million a year in the crafting niche. Yes, crafting. (The same industry your aunt is obsessed with at Michael's π) What makes this even more unreal? He started his YouTube channel when he was 11. He's only 26 now. Starting as a kid, he's been living and breathing online marketing for the past 15 years. Aside from the sheer impressiveness of that fact alone, Tanner dropped some fantastic strategies in our chat, including:
Plus, Tanner has built this entire business while working 20-25 hours a week and raising three adopted kids (which is another story he touches on in our chat). If youβre curious about creating a membership that generates consistent revenue β or how to use only YouTube as your marketing funnel β check out our conversation HERE.β You'll probably walk away with at least one a-ha moment, or one idea you can implement in your own business. ~ Elise P.S. I got a DM yesterday from someone who said: "Elise, I've owned YouTube Vault for YEARS but still haven't made my first video π" Reminded me of when I wanted to be a YouTube star... But I sat on the idea for years. And then in 2019, I finally started filming - sitting in my office, using my iPhone 8. The views weren't great, but that first video led to everything. The muscle of creating gets stronger every time you use it. So today, I'm sharing 7 video ideas you can film right now. Btw, my...
When I started on YouTube back in 2019, I nearly quit a few months in. I had good lighting. A decent vlog camera. Posted every week. Yet barely got views. Then one video got something like 50,000 views in a week. It was a spoof off a Gary Vee video on TikTok marketing - which was a new idea then π What changed? Not my camera. Not my editing style. It was my IDEA. MrBeast says: "90% of a video's success comes from the idea." Now with over 130K subscribers, I totally agree. Here's what I got...
What if everything you've been told about starting (or running) a business in 2025 is backwards? I found out it was - and made $6M by doing the opposite. Here's my new approach. Let me know what you think. ~ Elise P.S. I'm back on youtube, baby!
