It's January 2024. I'm fresh back to work after my mat leave, staring at my Instagram drafts folder. "Who even am I now?" The person who confidently wrote those captions months ago feels like a stranger. The hooks that once shared my reality now… don't. My finger hovers over the delete button. The paralysis was REAL. But I knew I had to keep testing, so I forced myself to post anyway – just "good enough" content that I wasn't even fully confident in. Over those next few months, something happened. By posting with an experimental hat on, I started to rediscover my voice – not my old voice, but my new one as a mom and business owner. Some posts resonated with my audience in ways my pre-baby content never had. Others fell flat. But I needed BOTH to find my way forward. The winners showed me what my audience cared about now. The duds helped me eliminate what didn't matter anymore. What I realized was simple but powerful: my potential customers didn't care about my personal evolution or self-doubt. They were just looking for solutions to their problems. And they couldn't find me if I wasn't showing up consistently with valuable content. This is why I get so fired up when I hear the two most common reasons business owners struggle with Instagram: ❌ "I don't have TIME to create content consistently." ❌ "My content isn't GOOD enough to get results." My student Theresa posted what she called a "sooo bad" first reel recently. Her update the next day? "That 'bad' Reel got 10 Likes, 7 follows and 1 DM from a legit person thanking me for my page content!!! That's literally more than DOUBLE the level of engagement I normally get." Here's what actually works on Instagram in 2025: #1: Creating content doesn't have to eat up your day. You can create a week's worth of content in under 30 minutes with the right system (I'll show you mine next week). #2: "Good enough" content that gets published consistently BEATS "perfect" content that never sees the light of day. The algorithm rewards consistency over perfection. Full stop. I've spent the last few months reverse-engineering exactly what's working now, and I'll be sharing it all in my free Reel of Fortune Workshop next week. In just one hour, you'll learn:
Instagram doesn't reward perfection in 2025 – it rewards the people who just keep showing up. See you at the workshop! ~ Elise P.S. Everyone who shows up LIVE gets my "FORTUNE FINDER CONTENT PACK" with 5 ready-to-film video ideas you can use right away! P.P.S. My student Beck used to spend 20 minutes writing each caption. Now it takes her 2 minutes. That's the difference a proven system makes. |

It's not very often that a friend of mine from the online business world ventures over to Barcelona. (I have to admit: since moving to this side of the pond, I do feel a bit detached from most online biz activities and conferences – so it’s always a treat when a friendly North American face pops by.) Meet: Tanner Bell. Can you tell we're YouTubers? Thumbnail faces are second nature now. While he was here with his family, he agreed to film an interview with me in my apartment that I think...
Last night, after putting my toddler down, I was reviewing all feedback about On Video from these past 3 years. One comment kept appearing over and over: "I love the video ideas, but I'm not sure how to connect them to actual sales." And it hit me – I've been sitting on a resource that could solve this exact problem. So I've decided to add one more resource to the birthday offer: 🎁 NEW BONUS: The Money Moves Challenge This is my private, 7-day audio challenge that shows you exactly how I...
Three years ago, I was flying home from San Diego, California. (Also, embarrassingly giddy in a lay-flat pod.) This was my content lol. Influencer, I am not. I had just stepped off stage after speaking at an event – what I thought was my “career high” of the year. What I didn’t know was that the real turning point hadn’t even happened yet. A few days later, I launched a new membership idea. Just a small, easy offering to help business owners create short-form video content that actually leads...
