It's January 2024. I'm fresh back to work after my mat leave, staring at my Instagram drafts folder. "Who even am I now?" The person who confidently wrote those captions months ago feels like a stranger. The hooks that once shared my reality nowβ¦ don't. My finger hovers over the delete button. The paralysis was REAL. But I knew I had to keep testing, so I forced myself to post anyway β just "good enough" content that I wasn't even fully confident in. Over those next few months, something happened. By posting with an experimental hat on, I started to rediscover my voice β not my old voice, but my new one as a mom and business owner. Some posts resonated with my audience in ways my pre-baby content never had. Others fell flat. But I needed BOTH to find my way forward. The winners showed me what my audience cared about now. The duds helped me eliminate what didn't matter anymore. What I realized was simple but powerful: my potential customers didn't care about my personal evolution or self-doubt. They were just looking for solutions to their problems. And they couldn't find me if I wasn't showing up consistently with valuable content. This is why I get so fired up when I hear the two most common reasons business owners struggle with Instagram: β "I don't have TIME to create content consistently." β "My content isn't GOOD enough to get results." My student Theresa posted what she called a "sooo bad" first reel recently. Her update the next day? "That 'bad' Reel got 10 Likes, 7 follows and 1 DM from a legit person thanking me for my page content!!! That's literally more than DOUBLE the level of engagement I normally get." Here's what actually works on Instagram in 2025: #1: Creating content doesn't have to eat up your day. You can create a week's worth of content in under 30 minutes with the right system (I'll show you mine next week). #2: "Good enough" content that gets published consistently BEATS "perfect" content that never sees the light of day. The algorithm rewards consistency over perfection. Full stop. I've spent the last few months reverse-engineering exactly what's working now, and I'll be sharing it all in my free Reel of Fortune Workshop next week. In just one hour, you'll learn:
Instagram doesn't reward perfection in 2025 β it rewards the people who just keep showing up. See you at the workshop! ~ Elise P.S. Everyone who shows up LIVE gets my "FORTUNE FINDER CONTENT PACK" with 5 ready-to-film video ideas you can use right away! P.P.S. My student Beck used to spend 20 minutes writing each caption. Now it takes her 2 minutes. That's the difference a proven system makes. βSAVE YOUR SEAT NOW.β |

I got a DM yesterday from someone who said: "Elise, I've owned YouTube Vault for YEARS but still haven't made my first video π" Reminded me of when I wanted to be a YouTube star... But I sat on the idea for years. And then in 2019, I finally started filming - sitting in my office, using my iPhone 8. The views weren't great, but that first video led to everything. The muscle of creating gets stronger every time you use it. So today, I'm sharing 7 video ideas you can film right now. Btw, my...
When I started on YouTube back in 2019, I nearly quit a few months in. I had good lighting. A decent vlog camera. Posted every week. Yet barely got views. Then one video got something like 50,000 views in a week. It was a spoof off a Gary Vee video on TikTok marketing - which was a new idea then π What changed? Not my camera. Not my editing style. It was my IDEA. MrBeast says: "90% of a video's success comes from the idea." Now with over 130K subscribers, I totally agree. Here's what I got...
What if everything you've been told about starting (or running) a business in 2025 is backwards? I found out it was - and made $6M by doing the opposite. Here's my new approach. Let me know what you think. ~ Elise P.S. I'm back on youtube, baby!
