We just got back from a camping trip and I spent most of my time keeping two small humans from overheating and not drinking pool water. It was a comedy of errors on the ride home with one kid sick and the other, well, you don't need the details, but I'm sure all parents can imagine. It blows my mind just how different I am as a person these days. Pre-kids Elise never not thought about business... and now my only focus is keeping the kids happy and alive. My business was my first-born child... and now it's mostly an independent teenager, taking care of itself 😅 Soon, I'm taking six weeks off this summer and hunkering down in Portugal and northern Spain. But before I go fully offline, I've been doing one thing every morning that's making the whole thing feel a lot less stressful: I'm done by 1. ⏰ Between swim lessons, a grabby baby, and a husband who's working with clients too, afternoons don't belong to me right now. Everything that matters happens in the morning, and then I close the laptop. Some mornings I have 20 minutes, some mornings I have 2 hours. Either way, the system is the same. I know yapping on camera is having a moment, but I've never in my life found it harder to formulate a coherent thought lol 🙃 And that's when carousel posts are especially handy. (This formula is pulled straight from One & Done.) I can make a carousel in a stolen 20 mins, and it drives engagement. Like this recent one that generated 857 comments. Those comments trigger a DM automation, which sends my followers to a sale page. (Here's a super easy automation you can steal, straight from Message Magic.) 👇 Set it up once, point it at one low-ticket offer (under $50 is the sweet spot), and let the carousel do the rest. If you haven't grabbed One & Done yet, consider it your secret weapon for making simple sales this summer. I'm curious... would being "done by 1" work for your life? If so, I can share some accountability tricks I've come up with that help me actually get my work done by 1pm. Let me know if that'd be helpful to hear! ~ Elise P.S. The carousel format is my most reliable tool right now, and One & Done is where I teach the whole system. |

I've had this nagging feeling about my reels for a couple weeks now, and I think it's time to change up my recipe. Instagram moves fast. Every few months, the whole game seems to shift. Speaking from experience... it's easy to keep doing the thing that worked 12 months ago and wonder why it's suddenly falling flat. That's kind of where I'm at right now (even while on summer vacay between Portugal and Spain – my brain never stops 😛). So instead of ignoring it, I made a video about everything...
There's a lot happening in the online space right now that's genuinely exciting... and can turn someone jelly, real fast. 😵💫 People growing accounts fast, running multi-million dollar launches, doing numbers that make you go: WOAHHH. Jessi Jean did a $6 million launch last month after her $1.2M launch in May. It's inspiring. I loved watching it. And also... if you've been in this game a while, it can mess with your head a little. Because somewhere in the watching, a sneaky little question...
Yesterday, I sat down to write my scripts for YouTube videos... something I've done 100 times since 2019. But i Had the strangest physical reaction to it... My head was itching like crazy. My cheeks were hot. I looked in the mirror and my eyes looked red. I asked my husband if we had lice or something lol. Then I realized.... I was having a physical reaction to the work I was trying to do. The moment it dawned on me. Trying to be "same old Elise" from 2019 was something my body was physically...
