The rhetoric right now is that courses are kind of dead... I get why. A lot of it kicked off when Amy Porterfield closed down her course-based business at the beginning of the year, and it threw a lot of people for a loop. (Not to mention AI and the commoditization of information 😬) But after all my experimenting recently, I just don't buy it. Free info you can Google? Yeah, that's a tough sell. But a course that gives people:
...is very much alive. So I'm making it my mission until the end of the year to modernize my courses for 2026 ✨ I'm going through my best ones and "AI-ifying" them, as I call it. Here's the example I've shared so far... I took Ads Vault, which started as a spreadsheet course, and turned it into an interactive tool. See a preview of that HERE. Then I made a YouTube video showing how I did the same with my freebie (watch HERE), and I've gotten SO many questions since publishing that video 3 weeks ago. If you want to update your own course (or your old spreadsheets, haha) so they feel relevant for right now, join my waitlist and I'll let you in behind-the-scenes of what I'm doing with my courses right now. I'll test which updates actually improve my students' experience AND improve conversion rates... and share all the goods soon. A few other things I'm working on: 1️⃣ You can now chat to my courses inside ChatGPT. We just finished Offer Vault and High Ticket Vault plugins (instead of GPTs). If you're a student, go check those out, because now you can just chat with ChatGPT about the course. Prefer Claude? There's a skill for that too, of course! 2️⃣ Sales pages customized to the reader. Testing this now. (It's kind of amazing when a headline says your name and speaks to your exact pain points and dreams 😀) 3️⃣ A tool that pulls freebies straight out of my courses and designs the funnels for me. It's so hands-off. I literally just sent my team member a message about it today, because not having to deal with form fields or automations is incredible. 4️⃣ A system that labels all my testimonials and DM screenshots. My Claude tool then suggests what goes on the sales page, or makes stories and carousel posts for my feed, depending on what I'm launching. I truly believe everyone should have a course... so even if you don't have a basic spreadsheet product (like me 💁♀️) to beautify, get on the waitlist to see what's possible. Breaking: Instagram just announced 90-minute videos 👀 They're horizontal, they're called Features (basically IGTV again), and they're testing them now. Why the comeback? Instagram has a TV app, and vertical Reels don't work on a TV. So who fills it with hours of long video? You. And so far, no payout has been announced. My take: I wouldn't start your long-form on Instagram. Put it on YouTube, where it gets found in search and can pay you, then bring the best 30 seconds to Instagram as a Reel. If they start paying, I'll happily eat my words. Until then, I'm not working for free to fill somebody else's TV. Now on a personal note... I'm 3 weeks into a 6-week fitness challenge 💪 I have literally never done one of these, but after joining my local F45 I somehow found myself in one. (How did this happen?? A good coach and community, that's how.) At first, I wanted to skip it because:
But it's actually been really illuminating.
I'm by no means entering the health space, ha. But it's helped me get my footing as I come back to work. It gives me direction, even though it's unrelated to work. Because movement creates momentum, which creates clarity. Nothing just starts from clarity. Oh, and one more thing... I'm at the halfway point of a 30-day posting challenge with a bunch of my peers 👀 The rule: the first person who doesn't post for a day pays the group $1,000. So far, everyone has posted every single day for 15 days, and it's been really eye-opening to see what's resonated and what's flopped. That's probably a story for another day, once I have more insights after the challenge is done. 👇 Want in on the course makeover movement? Add your name to the waitlist HERE. ~ Elise P.S. If you have a course or spreadsheet that feels a little dated, the waitlist is where I'll share exactly how I'm updating mine. |

Back in May, we took our very first trip as a family of 4. Bunny was 6 months old, and the furthest I was willing to go was about an hour's drive from Barcelona. So we rented a car, drove to a hotel on the Costa Brava (a hidden gem 🤫) and absolutely loved it. They had a private beach, pool, paddle courts... and two separate bedrooms in one room so the kids could both sleep uninterrupted. We loved it so much... we booked it again *two weeks later* with a different group of friends 😅. But...
I've had this nagging feeling about my reels for a couple weeks now, and I think it's time to change up my recipe. Instagram moves fast. Every few months, the whole game seems to shift. Speaking from experience... it's easy to keep doing the thing that worked 12 months ago and wonder why it's suddenly falling flat. That's kind of where I'm at right now (even while on summer vacay between Portugal and Spain – my brain never stops 😛). So instead of ignoring it, I made a video about everything...
There's a lot happening in the online space right now that's genuinely exciting... and can turn someone jelly, real fast. 😵💫 People growing accounts fast, running multi-million dollar launches, doing numbers that make you go: WOAHHH. Jessi Jean did a $6 million launch last month after her $1.2M launch in May. It's inspiring. I loved watching it. And also... if you've been in this game a while, it can mess with your head a little. Because somewhere in the watching, a sneaky little question...
