"Don't worry about the power outage, it probably won't reach Ibiza..."

That's what the hotel concierge told us as news broke about Spain's massive blackout – on the exact day I turned 38.

Because of course that would happen on my birthday – what an electric day, hehe.

Fun fact! I spent my 30th birthday overnight at the doomed Fyre Festival in the Bahamas... so I wasn't too surprised to see this happen.

My little family and I had escaped to Ibiza for a beachside celebration, and somehow, our corner of the island remained powered while the mainland went dark.

Birthday luck? Maybe. Or just the universe's way of saying "we'll let you have this one day."

My actual birth day was glorious – a 5 ⭐️ breakfast buffet complete with croissants and eggs benny, a blowout at the hotel, then a beach morning, topped up with a beachside lunch in the afternoon.

The real adventure came after Ibiza though, when we flew to Germany to visit my university friend.

You know those friends where you can pick up exactly where you left off, even if it's been years? That's her.

While there, my son rode a on the back of our bikes for the first time, through the lush and green canopies of Munster.

And then – because apparently this birthday trip needed more memorable moments – we witnessed a dairy cow giving literal birth.

Not exactly what I had on my birthday bingo card, but there we were, standing in a barn at 5 PM, watching nature in all its messy glory while us ladies watching all had the same expression on our faces: 😬😬😬

Speaking of unexpected turns... remember that Reels workshop I mentioned in my last email?

Turns out it resonated with more people than I anticipated. A lot more.

I created "Your First Sale From Reels" thinking it would help a handful of people who were frustrated with posting content that got views, but no actual sales.

It’s a short and sweet training where I walk through how I was able to keep making sales from Reels… even while I was off for months at a time.

No complex funnels.

No trying to “go viral.”

Just one Reel, one Story, and one automated DM flow that quietly did the heavy lifting.

It's currently $29.

Now I'm considering bundling it into something bigger with templates and swipe files, which means it probably won't stay available as is much longer.
